What's the difference between PsoriAid and PsoriAid+ Shampoo?
PsoriAid Shampoo is a gentle daily cleanser suitable for regular use on mildly affected scalps. PsoriAid+ contains 3% salicylic acid — a stronger formula that more effectively removes flakes and scalp build-up. Use PsoriAid+ 2–3 times per week and a milder shampoo on the remaining days.
How long until I see results?
Most users notice reduced flaking and itching within 2–4 weeks. The serum tends to act faster on targeted lesions — visible improvements within 2–3 weeks with regular use. For lasting results, we recommend using the products for at least 8–12 weeks consistently.
Can I use PsoriAid products on colour-treated hair?
Yes. PsoriAid products do not contain SLS or SLES, the most common ingredients that strip colour. We still recommend patch-testing with any new product first to check your personal compatibility.
What does the NPF Seal of Recognition mean?
The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is an independent US non-profit supporting people living with psoriasis. The NPF Seal of Recognition is awarded to products independently reviewed and found suitable for people with psoriasis. It is not a medical claim, but it confirms the product contains no known harmful ingredients for psoriasis-prone skin.
Which routine should I start with?
For mild or well-managed symptoms, start with the Maintenance Routine. For noticeable flaking and itching, the Moderate Routine with PsoriAid+ Shampoo offers stronger active action. For persistent, hard-to-manage symptoms, the Intensive Routine with the Scalp Serum provides the most complete protocol.
Are the products safe for daily use?
PsoriAid Shampoo and Conditioner can be used daily. PsoriAid+ Shampoo is recommended 2–3 times per week due to its salicylic acid content. The Scalp Serum should be used 1–2 times per week. Body Wash is safe for daily use.
